This is our 3rd contact with Magical Maths - last year both girls did an afterschool club and then a week of Magical Camp in Leicester in the summer.
Both were keen to do the Magical Maths afterschool club again this academic year.

Your Magical Maths idea is fantastic.
My son likes Maths but the idea of doing school work outside of school has never appealed to him...that is until Magical Maths turned up at Millbrook!
I wondered if it was something he would get bored of after the first couple sessions but he genuinely loves it and both my children really look forward to it each week.
I love it that your making maths fun and knowing that they are both squeezing in extra maths learning each week is very satisfying.
Let me know when you're back at Millbrook as I'm sure both of them would love to attend the next round.

My son is thoroughly enjoying magical maths. Every Wednesday he is excited that it is magical maths after school and is always eager to tell me what he has done in the class. If he didn't get chance to finish off one of the games, we always have to finish it off at home. Superb!

I can not recommend Magical Maths enough. My 7 year old has been attending a 6 week course and has loved every minute. He always comes out smiling and can not wait to show his family and myself what he has learnt at each session. He really enjoys maths and it is great for him to have some extra support and learn new ways at looking at maths other than what is learnt in his normal maths lessons at school.
As a parent it has not interfered with our home life and has been easy for him to attend straight from his normal school day. The communication of what he has learnt has been great and he always comes home with leaflets about what he has been doing in that particular session. I have also received regular communication from the team too, through E-mail. The whole experience has been very positive.
Thank you very much for brightening maths for him.

My son Alexander thinks that Magical Maths is "VERY VERY GOOD" and he never said it about any clubs he attended before. Every time he comes back very enthusiastic and eager to tell us about maths tricks he has learnt. It is a pity, the club finishes next week and we really hope you will back to Old Mill school soon. Amber's really enjoying it she always shows me what she's been doing as soon as she gets home, normally she doesn't like maths at all at school she's not very confident when it comes to numbers which is why I was keen for her to come when she asked so she obviously liked the taster session you did at school, I think its helping her be more confident with numbers and encouraging her to think of numbers in a different way rather than just "sums" and I think any way of getting numbers into her head the better, the more exposure to numbers she gets can only be good for her I think, its just an alternative way of looking at numbers so that it doesn't seem so frightening.
